  • Power Systems, Electrical Sector - Americas has an opening for a Maintenance Stock-keeper on 1st shift (7:00am - 3:00pm) at the North Street facility in Waukesha, WI.
  • Responsible for the daily operation of the maintenance stockroom and all satellite storage areas.
  • Sources, purchases and expedites machine repair parts and all maintenance/production shop supply materials.
  • Insures timely availability of on-hand materials and components.
  • Maintains all purchasing, issue/receipt and inventory records.
  • Receives and issues material from the stockroom.
  • Prepare and issue Purchase Orders for parts and services.
  • Maintain complete record system for processing PO’s which includes matching packing slips and invoices with purchase orders, resolving differences and maintaining a filing system for open and closed PO’s for both materials and services.
  • Perform material receipts and issue transactions for storeroom supplies.
  • Investigate and develop new suppliers for parts, materials and services.
  • Research and procure replacement parts for facility equipment.
  • Establish minimum and maximum stock levels and maintains stock inventories.
  • Coordinate “vendor-managed” inventory programs.
  • Physically put parts and materials into storeroom location and issue tools, parts and materials from the stock as needed.
  • Sets up and maintain current records on pricing and availability on purchased items.
  • Maintain supplier reference and stock inventory data.
  • Maintain records and files, and monitor for OSC costs related to buildings, grounds and contracted services.
  • Interact with coworkers, suppliers and contractors on a daily basis.
  • May perform light building and grounds activities, including snow removal, as needed.
  • Operate PIV equipment and motor vehicles.
  • Basic Qualifications (Including Educational Requirements)
  • High school education or GED equivalent from accredited institution
  • Minimum 2 years of experience sourcing and purchasing industrial machine components
  • Minimum 1 year of experience with computers utilizing MS office and a stockroom management system.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
  • Must live within 50 miles of Waukesha, WI in order to be considered.
  • No relocation is offered is required
  • Previous experience managing all aspects of maintenance stockroom and thorough familiarity with industrial equipment components
