  • Eaton’s Power Reliability Division is currently seeking a CNC Machinist II to join our team !
  • The hourly range is $28/hr - $33/hr depending on experience.
  • The core hours are 2:30 pm - 10:30 pm.
  • This position is based at our South Milwaukee, WI facility.
  • This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $3,000*, less applicable withholding.
  • Bonuses are being offered for a limited time only.
  • Applications must be submitted on or after May 19 th , 2022 to qualify.
  • Bonuses are only applicable to specific job types and shifts; additional terms and conditions may apply.
  • Associates must be employed at the time of the payout.
  • Bonuses will be payable in two installments: $1,000, less applicable withholding will be paid after three (3) months of employment and the remaining $2,000, less applicable withholding will be paid after nine (9) months of employment

  • The CNC Machinist II is responsible for programming, setting up, and operating various CNC Mill and Lathe Machines.
  • In this role, you will be expected to identify and use proper tools, gages, and equipment for the process.
  • You will be responsible for understanding various work processes and performing various machining operations within the CNC Machining group.
  • Edit and create Computer Numerical Controls (CNC) programs
  • Calculate dimensions or tolerances, using instruments, such as micrometers or vernier calipers
  • Set up, adjust, and operate basic or specialized machine tools used to perform precision machining operations
  • Study sample parts, blueprints, drawings, or engineering information to determine methods or sequences of operations needed to fabricate products
  • Meet or exceed quality and quantity standards
  • Required to operate multiple machines in various machining work centers
  • Make offsets based on inspection of parts in accordance to print specifications/instructions
  • Download & edit programs from the network system (DNC) into the machine
  • Monitor and edit the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.
  • Proficient use of micrometers, calipers, indicators, and various other measuring instruments
  • Assist Quality and Engineering teams with problem-solving and troubleshooting for new or existing product development
  • Responsible for troubleshooting and general maintenance
  • Perform other related duties as assigned and follow general housekeeping (5S+) standard and autonomous maintenance tasks
  • Identify and manufacture proper fixturing needed to complete the machining process
  • Identify proper tooling needed to complete the machining process
  • Interpret print datum structure and Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances (GD&T)
