Studies specifications such as blueprints, sketches, or tool description, and plans sequence of operations. Sets up and operates machine tools to machine parts to specifications and verifies part conformance. Must satisfy quality standards. Create and edit complex programs using CAD/CAM systems (Espirit) machine controllers and conversational programing including troubleshooting. Use measurement and analytical skills to accurately measure in-process inspection by using a wide variety of precision measuring instruments to assure high quality levels in detail machining. Communicates ideas to improve the organization. Must conform to current health, environmental, and safety standards. Perform other duties as assigned by Supervisor/Management.
