- The nurse navigator works closely with members of the multi-disciplinary team, physicians, and the community to improve the care and services provided to oncology patients.
- The navigator promotes patient, family, and physician satisfaction and is accountable for patient care delivery through appropriate resource utilization, active communication/follow up with team members, and leading clinical quality initiatives.
- The navigator provides services which encompass the spiritual, physiological, social, and psychological care aspects of patients, the prevention of disease, and the conservation of health.
- The 295-bed hospital with over 550 physicians, residents and allied health professionals, offers advanced healthcare services in a caring and compassionate environment.
- Services include cardiac care and cardiovascular medicine, emergency care for all ages, surgery services — including robotic-assisted surgery with the da Vinci® Surgical System, a weight–loss program, orthopedic services, outpatient and inpatient radiology and rehabilitation, respiratory care, sleep, oncology, wound care and women’s and children’s services.
