- The Licensed Practical Nurse must cooperate with PILLAR, the Office of Licensing, the Division of Developmental Disabilities, and the Department of Human Services in any inspection or investigation.
- Engage residents in communication, social, recreation, and ADL skills, financial, training, habilitation, and family/community functioning; reports observed changes in health or behavior to supervisor; all nursing tasks are done under the medical supervision and delegation of an LPN Coordinator, RN as needed and Residence Manager
- Administers prescribe medication to consumers and first aid to consumers and/or staff and prepare documents or progress notes relating to medication administration.
- Drives van or other vehicle Accompany residents on all medical appointments or to hospital during scheduled shifts as PILLAR’s person of medical expertise, follow through on all medical orders and coordinate follow up appointments as needed.
- Assist in areas such as shopping, meal preparation, cleaning, bathing and dressing, transferring, toileting, feeding, grooming and hygiene; supports individuals in implementation of IHP/ISP or other goals and objectives; performs household chores as needed.
