  • We have multiple Structural Aircraft Mech II positions available on our team.
  • -Lockheed Martin's Special Operations Forces Global Logistics Support Services (SOF GLSS) line of business is growing and has some exciting work going on at our site in Crestview, Florida.
  • Our work includes modifying newly built MC-130J aircraft and converting those into the AC-130J which is the latest C-130 variant of the legendary "Ghostrider" aircraft.
  • Presently we are looking for an Aircraft Structural Mechanic to join our team in Crestview.
  • PAY RATE: $28.67 per hour; plus 401k payout, benefits, medical incentives and more
  • The Aircraft Mechanic II will maintain, repair, and modify structural components of moderate difficulty on C130J model aircrafts.
  • The qualified applicant must have the experience and ability to perform one or more of the following: Experience in aircraft structural repair, fabrication, modification, and installation of parts, items, and assemblies by interpreting technical data such as blue prints or manufacturers drawings/manuals.
  • The Mechanic will plan, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs both internal and external aircraft structures and surfaces for aircraft modification.
  • Mechanic must be a qualified aviation sheet metal mechanic with experience in aviation sheet metal, hardware installation such as rivet/blind rivet installation, HI-Loc installation, etc.
  • The candidate must have a common knowledge of tooling required for performance of aircraft structural work.
  • Additional job duties are required but not limited to: performs corrosion control, maintenance inspections, miscellaneous duties to service aircraft, tow and jack aircraft.

  • Basic Qualifications: Minimum six (6) years of sheet metal experience performing aircraft modifications or demonstrated aptitude.
  • Strong aptitude to read and interpret mechanical drawings.
  • Ability to obtain a secret security clearance therefore must be a US Citizen.
  • Desired Skills: Heavy modification/integration/repair sheet metal experience on aircraft
  • Active Secret Clearance
