  • Accountable to the needs and desires of the individual(s) in their home, such as providing oversight according to individual plans, procuring needed medical care, ordering/passing meds, preparation of nutritious meals and laundry/clothing maintenance.
  • Implement objectives as detailed in the individual program plans and record the required data.
  • Maintain daily logs and individual documentation by the end of each shift worked, unless approved by the manager including receipts and account envelopes, bank ledgers, menus, GER's, household needs and grocery lists, medication administration records, and if applicable, behavior support data and health documentation (glucose, blood pressure, menses, elimination).
  • Implement emergency procedure drills and quarterly inspections and turn into Program Manager when due.
  • Oversee and assist individuals in completing their personal hygiene, grooming and activities of daily life, assist with the upkeep of the home and household tasks and personal/household shopping.
  • Plan and implement community integration activities using various community resources and maintain documentation of those activities.
  • Report any necessary household repairs to Program Manager.
  • Regularly inspect house vehicle and oversee vehicle cleanliness.
  • Review Tlogs, SComms and any other form of written communication during each shift.
  • Model respectful communication and social skills when interacting with others.
  • Provide five (5) assigned nights of oversight coverage in exchange for rent and utilities.
  • Provide emergency coverage during inclement weather.
  • Maintain certification in CPR, First Aid, NCI, Medication Administration, Abuse/Neglect Prevention, Positive Behavior Support, HIPAA, HCBS and any others required by the agency or supervisor.
  • Complete in-services prior to expiration date.
  • Accept responsibility to complete in-services prior to expiration date.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Excellent communication, written and organization skills.
  • Ability to teach/mentor others.
  • Ability to use computer programs such as Therap and Webclock.
  • Ability to assist in the training of new staff.
  • Eighteen years of age or older, High School Diploma or equivalency, experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Ability to bend, stoop or perform other physical duties, as required by Community Living functions.
  • Ability to sit for significant periods of time.
  • Ability to stand or walk at a quick pace for several hours at a time.
  • Class E Missouri Driver's License and proof of car insurance.
  • Successful completion of criminal history background check and drug screen.
