Applicants must possess avalid Lifeguard Certification, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) for the Professional Rescuer Certification, and Water Safety or Swim Lesson Instructor Certification (WSI) by start date.

Some (1 - 2 seasons) experience in performing the duties of a lifeguard and instructing swimming classes is preferred.
All staff are required to purchase a black swimsuit/shorts uniform selected by the Aquatics Administration, and a Fox 40 whistle.
