  • This LSE will be supporting the new Table Rock Program.
  • This is an opportunity to use your expertise with related hardware and performance analysis, algorithm development, control systems, and optical signal processing capabilities.
  • You will be a key contributor in a dynamic system engineering team on a new high-profile program developing the next generation of airborne advanced EO systems including imagers, passive/active EO tracking, LIDAR, and directed energy systems.
  • You will be responsible for performing mode development, design, performance analysis, modeling & simulation.
  • The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with very strong problem solving skills and also have demonstrated capability in design, integration and test of complex engineering systems.
  • Location is either El Segundo, CA or McKinney, TX
  • AdvancedEO #ISRSSystems Required Skills: Minimum of 10 years systems engineering experience to include airborne system design and/or systems engineering in a related development environment.
  • Airborne EO/IR hardware design and/or systems engineering experience in development and production organizations; experience with laboratory test, flight test, and qualification of airborne systems.
  • Experience leading derivation of component and product requirements from system level requirements, and analyzing system performance; establishing and maintaining a technical baseline, and leading proactive change control of that baseline.
  • Leading internal and external design and test readiness reviews as well as proposal technical and cost estimation efforts.
  • Experience conducting technical supplier management of development subcontractors.
  • Must be able to travel periodically in support of offsite testing.
  • Strong technical writing / oral communication skills and experience interfacing with senior customer technical representatives and company executive leadership.
  • Must have an active and in-scope DoD Secret U.S. security clearance (investigation within past 5 years).
  • Desired Skills: Demonstrated success in leading multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and in control account management; Prior experience as an IPT-L or Program Manager.
  • Experience with developing and executing factory test plans, procedures, and equipment.
  • Demonstrated production support, troubleshooting, and factory improvement initiative experience.
  • Specific knowledge and prior experience with image processing electronics, optics, and cooled focal plane array integration.
  • Active SSBI Required Education: Typically requires a B.S. Degree in a related STEM discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Math or Systems Engineering.
  • A related advanced degree is preferred but not required.
  • Relocation Eligible: Relocation assistance available provided final candidate meets eligibility requirements.
  • ERIP: Only employees currently within RMD and RIS have the potential to receive a Referral Award for submitting a referral to RMD and RIS roles.
  • ALL eligibility requirements must be met to receive the Referral Awarding.
