- The Lead Technician will act as the on-site coordinator and crew supervisor for structured cabling and other low voltage / special system projects.
- The Lead Technician will consistently run project crews that consist of 3 or more techs; assume responsibility for effective performance and provide necessary training; assume responsibility for adherence to Company and customer safety and quality guidelines and hold weekly safety meetings; initiate performance-related communications and escalate to the Installation Manager if necessary.
- The Lead Technician coordinates with the Installation Manager to ensure productivity, job completion, and compliance with the project budget.
- The Lead Technician completes all internal paperwork, and project updates daily through Procore and completes project paperwork accurately and on time (specifically timesheets, RFIs, work orders, change orders, and others as required).
- The Lead Technician will perform quality checks on the project to ensure the crews are adhering to any local building codes, BICSI / ANSI standards, and customer specifications, prepare deliverable documentation (red-lined as-built drawings, cable charts, test reports) to provide the Project Manager; prepare red-lined as-built drawings.
