- Primary working areas include standard housing areas as well as specialized areas including but not limited to: non-human primate housing areas, biohazardous areas, animal colonies requiring specialzed procedures.
- Maintains accurate colony recordsPerforms technical procedures such as: permanent animal identification, animal restraint and tissue biopsies.
- Establishes breeding cages and weans juvenile animals.
- Coordinates with Primary Investigators and other staff to maintain colonies and achieve scientific objectives.
