  • Assists in leading the IT Field Service Technician team with personnel development to ensure quality and timely service to employees of the credit union.

  • Manages workload and prioritization of ticket queue of Field Service Technicians
  • Mentors and Coaches IT Field Service Technicians
  • Responsible for the quality of work delivered by the Field Service Team
  • Advises employees regarding best practices and provides technical training as necessary on computer systems
  • Oversees the computer hardware lifecycle, including ordering, provisioning, and tracking of computers and peripherals
  • Coordinates setup of new Branches and remote locations according to established requirements, ensuring that all project tasks are completed and systems tested prior to end user usage
  • Facilitates training and development of Field Service Team members
  • Coordinates with vendors to ensure maximum availability of technology hardware
  • Helps with creation of processes and documentation in IT Knowledge Base
  • Assists with personnel decisions of Field Service Technicians
  • Monitors hardware inventory levels to ensure on-hand spare equipment stock is sufficient for business needs.
  • Assists with new Branch Setups, Refurbishment, and department moves.
  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Four plus years of related experience
  • Credit Union Experience Or Similar Preferred
  • Equivalent to a four-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study
  • Licenses, Certificates, Registrations
  • Current driver’s license and good driving record and be willing and able to drive to Branch Locations frequently
  • Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) or Equivalent
  • CompTIA A+ Certification
  • Computer/Office Equipment Skills
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Advanced skills in troubleshooting and fixing PC and related Hardware
  • Has managerial and supervisory responsibilities that are direct and indirect with a subordinate group of 6 to 8 employees.
  • Estimates personnel needs and assigns work to meet these needs.
  • Supervises, coordinates and reviews the work of assigned staff.
  • Interviews candidates for employment, conducts performance evaluations and salary reviews for assigned staff, and applies company policy.
  • Other Skills And Abilities
  • Effective prioritization and project management skills, as well as time management skills with the ability to properly prioritize work and hold to a schedule.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory users and groups.
  • Ability to assist end-users with common issues with our standard applications and platforms.
  • Ability to troubleshoot various P/C hardware and software packages.
  • Intermediate knowledge of TCP/IP and Ethernet networks.

  • Ability to talk, sit, and hear consistently
  • Ability to stand, walk, and use hands to handle or reach occasionally
  • Must be willing to travel as required (up to 25%) within the five state credit union footprint

  • Ability to lift up to 10 lbs consistently; up to 50 lbs occasionally
  • There are no unusual environmental factors (such as a typical office)

  • This Job is not eligible to be performed in Colorado or Connecticut, either remotely or in-person.
