- We are seeking a Year Round Undergraduate Intern to support managers, staff, and administrative professionals in Center 8600, Biology, Radiology & Signature Science Technology and Engineering.
- The Biological, Radiation, and Signature Science, Technology, & Engineering Center (8600) performs exploratory science and develops technology to address pressing national needs in energy security, homeland security, and national defense.
- Through extensive partnerships inside and outside Sandia, the Center focuses on understanding and countering natural and engineered biological threats, as well as developing radiation detection systems and remote sensing techniques for nuclear nonproliferation applications, portable systems to demilitarize chemical weapons, and alternative lignocellulosic and algal-derived transportation biofuels.
- Substance abuse or illegal drug use, falsification of information, criminal activity, serious misconduct or other indicators of untrustworthiness can cause a clearance to be denied or terminated by DOE, resulting in the inability to perform the duties assigned and subsequent termination of employment.
