- To remove, repair, calibrate, adjust, modify, construct, install, service and maintain all mechanical, electrical and electronic instrumentation and controls used for engineering, production and testing purposes.
- Including: optical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, photographic, magnetic, electrical, electronic, sonic, strain gages and their lead wire systems, telemetry and slip ring data systems, computer related data acquisition systems, communications equipment and vibration systems.
- Performs necessary mechanical assembly and disassembly of any or all associated components of any instrument.
- Works with schematic drawings, prepares electronic and associated assemblies for instrumentation.
- Performs soldering, arc and spot welding and brazing as required.
