* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience in IT support.
* 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure, specifically focusing on system optimization and security, in a role of similar capacity.
* Proficiency in server administration, with the ability to set up, configure, and maintain Windows and Linux servers, coupled with a thorough understanding of firewall concepts and their application in managing server security.
* Strong understanding of networking concepts, including VLANs, subnets, routing, and DNS management.
* Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
* Experience in managing and optimizing critical infrastructure components, including servers, storage, and networking equipment.
* Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Ansible, Terraform, or Puppet.
* Scripting and automation skills such as languages like PowerShell, Python, or Bash, along with a solid understanding of source control practices using Git.
* Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes is a plus.
