- Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Associate degree in Health Information Management or related field from an accredited college or university for Health Information AAS or Medical Billing Specialist classes.
- Active AHIMA credential, such as Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS).
