- The Head of Index Data Operations is a senior leadership position within FTSE Russell responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of Index Data Management within the organisation.
- The role involves leading a large team who between them are responsible for managing, developing and enhancing index data operations to support the organisations indices and benchmarks used in many financial products such as ETFs, mutual funds and other investment vehicles.
- The Head of Index Data Operations will also work closely with the Head of Benchmark & Index Management Strategy, Transformation and Delivery to play a critical role in driving FTSE Russell’s index data strategy and ensuring the accuracy, operational robustness, constant improvement and regulatory compliance of the organisations usage of data in Indices and Benchmarks.
- Work with the Head of Benchmark & Index Management Strategy, Transformation and Delivery to develop, prioritise and implement strategic plans for the index data operations function, aligning with commercial objectives, index platform objectives, regulatory requirements and client demands.
- Lead and manage the teams responsible for data research, data due diligence, data collection and collation, data transformation, data validation and data provision.
