  • + The Hospital Group Chief Human Resource Officer is responsible for leading the Emory Healthcare HR business partner teams in the execution of EHC people strategy at all Emory Healthcare hospitals.
  • + Working closely with the EHC System Chief Human Resources Officer they will develop and implement EHC People programs that support EHC being an employer of choice in Atlanta and the Southeast.
  • + They will have a strong and influential presence with hospital and system executives in such a way as to translate business directives into human capital solutions that will support the achievement of Emory Healthcare strategic goals.
  • + This position will provide executive leadership to a team of HR business and operations leaders to form collaborative, business relationships with the hospitals in order to deliver human resource consulting services.
  • + Those services include diagnosis of human capital challenges and priorities, identifying and advising on appropriate solutions to human capital issues, resolution of issues and measurement of success.
  • + In their role leading the EHC HR business partner function for Emory hospitals, they will report to the EHC System Chief Human Resource and Culture Officer.
  • + Design and lead a dynamic HR business partner framework that will deliver relevant retention, leadership, engagement, recognition and change management to support the business strategy, culture, and key business needs.
  • + Establish position as a collaborative, effective contributor and leader as it relates to supporting the transformation and integration taking place within the hospitals.
  • + Identify, build and lead a comprehensive array of Human Resource initiatives, enhancements and practices that focus on the continued integration of human resources practices across the organization and in sync with the healthcare system.
  • + Identify areas of standardization to promote efficiency and consistency; yet, also recognize the uniqueness of characteristics of entities and business that may require flexibility in certain human resources programs and practices.
  • + Work closely within the system to actively seek out ideas and feedback relative to human resources policies and programs.
  • + Establish and implement HR efforts that effectively communicate and support Emory Healthcare's mission and strategic vision.
  • + Develop HR plans and strategies to support the achievement of the overall business operations objectives.
  • + Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive/senior management of each business unit or specialty group regarding key organizational and management issues.
  • + Work with the EHC's executive management team to establish a sound plan of management succession that corresponds to the strategy and objectives of the company.
  • + Work with System Chief HR & Culture Officer to translate business strategy into people strategies, tactics, processes, programs, metrics.
  • + Work with Chief DEI Officer on system-wide execution of DEI efforts.
  • + Analyze pertinent business metrics, including engagement results, turnover and exit interview data to proactively identify trends to be able to make recommendations and implement for improvement.
  • + Develop trusted advisor relationships with key business partners and ensure effective communication with executives and managers across the hospitals to ensure proper focus on HR issues.
  • + Design and implement innovative HR programs that align to HR goals and support the strategic objectives of the hospitals.
  • + Lead HRVP and business partner operational excellence, co-leads team development to build bench strength.
  • + Builds succession bench strength at the director and VP of HR levels for enhanced contribution to business needs and future growth opportunities.
  • + Leverage data as the source of design, forecasting and measuring success of HR programs.
  • + Potential to lead HR Practice areas or centers of excellence where needed.
  • + Ensures compliance to federal and state employment laws and regulatory Human Resources requirements as well as Joint Commission standards.
  • + A Master's degree in human resources, healthcare administration, business administration or related field required.
  • + A minimum of fifteen years of HR experience, with at least seven years of senior level human resources leadership experience, including leading multi-site operations and HR functions.
  • + Demonstrated track record leading human capital transformation to include process improvement and change management.
  • + SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred.
  • + Strong coaching, mentoring and development abilities.
  • + Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • + Excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • + Excellent judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to deal with ambiguity and provide leadership to drive solutions.
  • + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • + Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
  • + Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • + Knowledge of and experience with varied human resource information systems.
  • + Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
