- Grant Writer Reports to: Vice President of Development
- Works with the ULBGC team to conduct prospect research and identify prospective foundation and corporate grant funding sources.
- 3 – 5 years of successful grant-writing experience required; additional nonprofit fundraising experience strongly preferred.
- Proven proficiency of professional writing experience including successful proposals to institutional donors and grant writing experience.
- Commitment to respect the confidential nature of the donor, volunteer and alumni information to which they have access.

- Research and develop proposals to foundation and corporate prospects, including grant requests, proposal letters, budgets and presentations with the purpose of raising philanthropic support.
- Self-motivated professional with the understanding and knowledge of trends, giving insight into donor motivations.
