  • The Emory University Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences and Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta (CHOA) are recruiting a full-time, board certified Director of Pediatric Neuroradiology (NR) to join our growing faculty at the Emory + Children's Pediatric Institute.
  • A successful candidate will lead our large Pediatric Neuroradiology service and join the Pediatric Radiology Division.
  • This leader will provide oversight and coordination of Pediatric NR services and provide leadership in trainee education and innovation in this arena.
  • Childrens is one of the largest pediatric clinical care providers in the country with three hospitals, 638 licensed beds and access to more than 60 pediatric sub-specialties.
  • To respond to the growing demands for access to our specialized pediatric care, Childrens has broken ground on the Arthur M. Blank Hospital, a new pediatric medical campus that is scheduled to open in 2025 and will be one of the largest pediatric tertiary care hospitals in the country.
  • Our radiology team currently performs over 300,000 imaging exams annually, including over 9,000 NR MRIs and 6,000 NR CTs.
  • Our program consists of over 6 Neurosurgeons and 23 Neurologists with over 22,000 office visits and 14,000 surgical procedures annually.
  • Our Emergency Departments have over 130 physicians and over 300,000 patient visits annually.
  • Our Hematology/Oncology program consists of over 70 physicians with over 20,000 office visits annually.

  • Qualified applicants must have completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in (1) Neuroradiology and/or (2) Pediatric Radiology.
  • Applicants must have ABR Subspecialty Certification in Pediatric Radiology and/or NR. Faculty rank will commensurate with experience.
  • Preferably, candidates will have completed a Pediatric Neuroradiology Fellowship and a minimum of 5 years clinical experience in Pediatric Neuroradiology.
