- We re looking for a Mid- to Senior-Level Geomorphologist who is inspired by stream restoration and passionate about improving stream ecology and fish passage programs.
- As a member of our Northwest Water Resources team, you will work with and lead a team of scientists and engineers as a part of a multidisciplinary team to assess and improve stream functions in the Puget Sound and the greater Pacific Northwest.
- Your Role:In this position, you ll work with a highly collaborative team to:Lead and assist with technical studies, geomorphic assessments, and designs for ecological restoration and mitigation projectsConduct stream field analyses (field and desktop), perform assessments of lateral and vertical channel stability, evaluate existing and future geomorphic hazards and risks, and compile findings in technical reports Develop post-project channel and floodplain evolution projections.
- Mentor junior staff to develop skillsets related to fluvial geomorphology.
