  • The General Manager (GM) is responsible for all aspects of the hotel operations to ensure that day to day business operations run smoothly.
  • The General Manager will focus on key areas such as: supervising and managing personnel, maintaining the facility, financial oversight, strategic planning, ensuring safety and security, providing excellent guest satisfaction, following brand standards, improving operations, and managing capital projects.
  • The General Manager must enjoy serving and leading guests and team members.
  • A top candidate for this position must have strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Lead, Manage and be accountable for all aspects of the hotel operation.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor team members.
  • Control labor costs and policy compliance
  • Support team members in their duties and interactions with guests.
  • Manage the finances and reporting of the hotel and gift shop.
  • Oversee daily bookwork, payments, and billing.
  • Create budgets and reports.
  • Embrace the company core values and use them to lead by example.
  • Manage the maintenance of the hotel.
  • Ensure high quality room, grounds, and public space condition.
  • Oversee and implement capital projects.
  • Review and analyze all required legal, financial, and employment documents.
  • Lead the team members in providing excellent guest satisfaction.
  • Analyze guest feedback and create feedback reports.
  • Communicate well with all stakeholders
  • Oversee revenue management and group yield strategy.
  • Negotiate, order, and control supplies, services, and merchandise.
  • Ensure Brand compliance and regulations.
  • Oversee safety and security of guests, vendors, and team members.
  • Ensure safety training and reporting is up to date and compliant
  • All other duties required to lead and manage the hotel.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to lead.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Good observation skills.
  • An ability to deliver constructive criticism.
  • College or advanced education is helpful.
  • Must be Computer literate and have math and accounting skills.
  • Previous hotel experience is required.
  • An ability to identify weaknesses and provide coaching where necessary.
  • Ability to manage your time efficiently.
  • Physical ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, climb, bend, reach, grasp, carry and lift up to 25 pounds, push or pull cart weighing up to 100 pounds.
  • Visual acuity to ensure detailed cleaning.
  • Ability to maintain a professional appearance and interact positively with hotel guests, vendors, and team members.
  • A value set that is consistent with the company core values.
  • Knowledgeable in all aspects of staffing, recruiting, hiring, and training qualified candidates.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including but not limited to weekends and holidays.
  • Must live within 25 minutes of the hotel in Branson, Missouri.
  • Must satisfy a background check and drug test.
