- Perform corrective maintenance and troubleshooting for the U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) and Air and Marine Operations (AMO) facilities and real property.
- The General Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing all types of building maintenance, construction and repair tasks that require knowledge and application of a variety of trade practices associated with such occupations as electrical, plumbing, painting, carpentry, pipefitting, and HVAC.
- Must have a working knowledge of work practices, methods, processes, and skills in a variety of trade areas, to include electrical, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, ironwork, painting, concrete work, HVAC, fire protection, earthwork, irrigation, and other required repairs.
- Must have knowledge of equipment, materials, methods, practices, and tools used in the General Maintenance Worker field.
- Working knowledge of work practices, methods, processes, and skills in two or more trade areas (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) within a commercial facility is desired.
