- Under the direction of the food service director, coordinates all activates related to food production, which includes managing the daily operations of the kitchen, managing food costs/labor costs and complying with all standards established by the regulatory agencies.
- Responsible for developing, mentoring and training food service staff to ensure an efficient and profitable food service department.
- BS Degree in Culinary Arts preferred, or Associates degree or equivalent for a 2 year college in culinary, hotel/restaurant or food service related areas of study.
- Ability to communicate effectively; both verbal and written, with clients, customers, and support staff
- Intuition and batch cooking experience
