- What you’ll doAssemble and install Forward hardware at a new location (structures, low voltage wiring, IT rack, electromechanical components, skins/surfaces, and furniture)Test components to verify that they meet their specifications or other QC requirements.
- Partner with engineers to solve issues we haven’t seen beforeDocument issues and fixes, and write document revisions to improve install and repair efficiencyPrototype new concepts: Build simple prototypes out of wood, metal, foam and other basic prototyping materials.
- Wire, solder, and assembly low voltage components such as IT components, AV components, LED lighting, and microcontrollers/PCBs (Arduino ESP32, etc.)
- You will be responsible for purchasing needed tools you don’t currently haveWhat we're looking for:You have experience performing on-site maintenance and you know your way around a construction site (safety best practices, communication best practices, etc.)
- Bonus points if you have low voltage experience: low voltage wiring, installing LV/IT/AV devices, debugging LV/IT/AV devices, soldering, etc.
