- This person will oversee the implementation of its growing portfolio of projects (currently over $100M in contracts with USAID), ensuring effective project delivery, working with WSP’s operational teams to also ensure sound financial management and contract compliance.
- Develop and implement WSP’s strategy to grow its governance portfolio, which currently includes projects focusing on public financial management, local governance, transparency and accountability, and civic participation.
- Provide thought leadership in the governance field, including representing WSP to USAID and in industry conferences and meetings.
- Master's degree (or higher) in one of the following disciplines: i) public administration, ii) economics, iii) governance, and iv) public finance management or a relevant discipline with 12 years of experience working on development programs.
- Technical expertise in one or more area of democracy and governance programming – public financial management; decentralization and local governance; transparency, accountability and anti-corruption; rule of law; or civil society strengthening – required.
