About The Role FASTLABs Engineering is seeking a Systems Engineer to join an existing team and lead the platform integration of a novel multi-function RF System. As a member of this team you will collaborate with scientists, fellow engineers and industry partners to realize innovative solutions to complex and challenging national security problems. Your focus as a member of this team includes integration, test, and debug of electronic systems employing EW/RF convergence effects. The ideal candidate will have experience <ul><li>Applying critical thinking, and analytical skills to multiple domains effectively and working across disciplines to solve problems in innovative ways</li><li>Researching, understanding, and implementing new technical solutions related to RF sensing, communications, and EW</li><li>Lead Integration and test activities inclusive of leading teams, supporting field tests, integrating hardware/software on platforms at remote sites, and manage customer interaction</li><li>Working within a multi-disciplinary teams to integrate, debug performance issues, identify and recommend solutions,</li><li>Developing test plans, and associated test infrastructure, to ensure test strategies meet customer expectations</li><li>Clearly communicate ideas, concerns and solution to the team, industry partner, customers and FASTLABS management.</li><li>Ensuring appropriate level of rigor is applied to achieve systems the meet customer needs. </li></ul>Required Education, Experience, & Skills <ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering or related fields</li><li>8+ years of relevant industry experience with emphasis on hardware validation and verification testing.</li><li>Demonstrate experience in RF test methods, systems, and equipment with experience in the application</li><li>Familiarity with Python and/or MATLAB for data parsing and data visualization</li><li>Ability to travel to and work at remote sites in support of test events, meetings and training activities as required</li><li>Proficient with test equipment including RF sources, pulse generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, power meters, power supplies, and digital multi-meters</li><li>Strong root cause analysis skills</li><li>Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills</li><li>Hold an Active TS </li></ul>Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills <ul><li>Experience operating and testing complex systems in a maritime environment</li><li>Proficiency in data analysis tools: Python, MATLAB</li><li>Experience with Linux and command line interfaces as well as software debugging</li><li>Experience managing a test and evaluation program</li><li>Obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance </li></ul>Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $126610 - $215270 Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
