- Supervise all departmental staff and ensure work is in compliance with established policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal regulations (i.e., OSHA, Health Department, Code enforcement, DCF, departmental manuals, etc
- Direct supervision of Maintenance Staff, Custodian; Plans, schedules, conducts, and participates in Director's meetings to discuss issues, priorities, practices, and procedures; resolves operational problems and giving recommendations to the Operations Program Director.
- Monitors PBC Area Command's disaster preparedness; keeps abreast of current trends in disaster services, response, and operational procedures.
- Collaborates with the EDS Coordinator and other local Disaster Relief agencies to create productive partnership during times of disaster.
