- In support of these responsibilities, the Executive Director will act as Chief of Operations, Human Resources Director, Development Officer, Comptroller, Community Relations Manager and Public Information Officer.

- Act as senior human resources manager with regard to annual employee evaluations, salary review, discipline, counseling, dispute resolution, employee benefits fulfillment, and all other usual functions of a personnel or Human Resources Director.
- Recruit donors, create partnerships, solicit sponsorships and underwriting contracts, write and apply for grants, and develop fundraising events.
- Coordinate the activities of the board of directors by establishing and maintaining regular communications with its officers and directors, providing bimonthly reports of significant activities, organizing regular bimonthly board meetings, serving as an ad hoc advisor to committees and working groups, and providing the means for board member development, including the implementation of annual planning retreats.
