Requirements for the Excavator Operator Position at Petticoat-Schmitt: At least 3 years experience working as an excavator operator and working with a pipe crew. Experience excavating for and installing large pipes for underground utilities including water, storm, and sewer. Experience working with large-diameter pipes in commercial construction. Must have reliable transportation and be willing to commute within a 50-mile radius around Jacksonville and surrounding areas, including counties of Nassau, Clay, Duval, and St. Johns Must be available to work overtime and weekends as needed.
