- Under the direction of the University Engineer, the Energy Manager is a leader in the development and implementation of a comprehensive and cost-effective Energy Management Program.
- The Energy Manager also has an outward facing role to help advance and support the university's goal of environmental excellence among higher education institutions.
- Due to the critical nature of the role, the Energy Manager must be on-site during regular working hours, major projects and emergency events.
- Co-manages data historian (OSI Soft) for data collection and visualization.
- Analyzes meter data and events provided by various head end systems Building Automation, OSI Soft, EnergyCAP to identify trends, abnormal operating characteristics, and develop corrective actions.
