We are currently searching for a Full Time Endoscopy Technician to work Mondays – Fridays who can work cooperatively with staff and physicians and perform a variety of tasks.

Mid-Atlantic Endoscopy Center is a state-of-the-art, freestanding outpatient facility located in New Castle County, Delaware. At Mid-Atlantic Endoscopy Center we provide our patients with endoscopic procedures that visualize and treat conditions of the esophagus, stomach or small and large intestines without the need or inconvenience of a hospital stay.

The 5,600 square foot endoscopy center offers a fully-equipped operating room, a recovery room, a spacious waiting room, and a full array of amenities to make patients feel comfortable and at ease throughout their visit.

The Endoscopy Technician, under the general supervision of a Physician or Registered Nurse, assists physicians or other providers with procedures performed in the endoscopy setting.

Problem Solving: Ability to address problems that are broad, complex and abstract, often involving Medical Center-wide issues and requiring substantial creativity, resourcefulness, staff engagement, Lean diagnostic techniques, negotiation and diplomacy to develop solutions.

Our hospital is equipped with digital radiography, MRI, CT, ultrasound, endoscopy, 24-hour access to full clinical pathology lab, oxygen cages, pulse oximetry, capnography, I-Stat point-of-care testing, telemetry, blood pressure and central venous pressure monitoring, Pleur-Evac suction units, and ventilator therapy.

Minimum Education Required: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), Practical Nurse (LPN), Registered Nurse (RN), or certification from an approved Pharmacy Technology course that has been approved by ASHP. Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPht) highly preferred.

The Electro-Mechanical Technician Level 3 will be responsible for the daily maintenance and troubleshooting of all equipment installed at the Mountville PA site.
