- Assists in the preparation and coordination of DFAS exercises to provide training in and testing of emergency/continuity plans, procedures, and programs during and following emergencies.
- Specialized experience is defined as: Developing, coordinating, publishing, maintaining and distributing the Emergency Action Plans (EAP) and the Occupant Emergency Plan (OEP) for the Site Support Office.
- Paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social) is qualifying.
- This position will be covered by a formal training under the DFAS Career Acclimation Program (DCAP).
- The purpose of this program is to develop well-qualified, well-trained, high potential employees for future positions within DFAS. Promotion is conditional based on performance, successful completion of training, and availability of higher graded work.
