- The Director of Sales & Marketing is responsible for leading & driving top line revenue strategy, sales and synergies for all revenue areas of the hotel asset.
- The DOSM will have direct accountability for setting the strategy, delivery and monetization of the hotel’s assets to include, but not limited to, transient and group rooms, banquet and catering revenues, restaurant business, and other revenue opportunities in the hotel.
- Partner with Revenue Management to determine sales pricing strategies, set rates and inventory restrictions, establish thresholds, determine space utilization, deploy competitive data strategies, analyze demand and manage market mix.
- Monitor and manage team member performance to include providing supervision and professional development, scheduling and deployment, conducting counseling and evaluations, and delivering recognition and rewards.
- Collaborate with and support hotel B2B marketing, digital marketing, social media, public relations, and communications activities with support from DHG corporate marketing, Contract PR/Marketing, and Brand Commercial resources.
