- Dir Clinical Informatics is responsible for the planning, developing, and implementing of technology solutions that directly support patient care for Baylor Scott and White Health (BSWH), including the Electronic Health Record (EHR) and associated software applications.
- Develops and implements strategy, policies, procedures, and processes for informatics with the goal of maximizing patient safety, quality of care, and operational efficiency.
- Engages with clinicians, physicians, advanced practice professionals, and multi-disciplinary project teams to lead the site-specific implementation, standardization, utilization, and optimization of an electronic health record (EHR) and clinical informatics tools.
- Directs facility clinical informatics implementations including current state/gap analysis, requirements documentation, workflow design, testing, training, implementation support, and optimization.
- Reviews and approves clinical reporting requests and informatics change control processes.
