  • Directs all aspects of marketing activities for one or more business units to build brand recognition and awareness in the industry and create interest to procure the company's products, services and support.
  • Manages and drives the execution of assigned business unit marketing and communications activity
  • Works to execute business unit digital marketing campaigns to drive product adoption and usage
  • Manages consumer and client facing marketing activity that includes print, web, email.
  • Creates and launches product focused digital marketing campaigns
  • Develops messaging for the sales team for each of the sales stages
  • Establishes and maintains business unit brand guidelines
  • Manages framework, policies and guidelines for exhibiting at conferences
  • Manages internal communications and customer communications and events by developing appropriate sales mediums (i.e., literature, presentations, videos, advertisements, etc
  • Manages creative and design team to ensure sales presentations are updated with key messages
  • Responsible for managing consumer facing, customer facing and internal product communications.
  • Ensure product and sales collateral are updated with key value propositions and messaging
  • Attends and participates in industry events as necessary
  • Maintains industry publications contacts and relationships
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Exceptional writing, proofing and editing skills and acquired the skills in a professional writing environment.
  • Able to work in an environment with a significant amount of ambiguity and rapid changes, which requires adapting to new approaches and ways of thinking.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and thorough understanding of the best approach for communicating with others at all times.
  • Displays a professional demeanor
  • Resourceful and Self-Starter
  • Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, familiar use with technology including CRMs
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or Business related field and or equivalent years of experience.
  • 10+ years of Marketing and Sales Enablement
  • 5+ Industry experience includes software and services sales experience, cloud, hosting, managed services, state and local sales to governmental entities, telecommunications sales experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills and experience presenting to both external and internal audiences.
  • Ability to conduct market research, analyze data, conduct surveys, and customer interviews and utilize that knowledge in developing product content.
  • Familiarity with product marketing tactics such as integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Analytical mind and strong quantitative skills.
  • Strong collaborator and team player as well as a proven individual contributor
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment with individual associates, other department teams, and direct reports.
  • Capability of effective planning and priority setting.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel, Graphic design and PPT skills.
  • Able to be strategic and hand-on executional as well.
  • Willing to travel 25%
  • Standing and/or sitting for long periods of time, listening, bending, reaching, typing, using peripheral computer tools.
  • May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
