  • The Director of HR Systems leads the HR Solution Delivery team with HR Operations department.
  • In this highly collaborative and forward-focused role, you will partner with Business, HR, and IT to define and improve Voya's HR business processes and the technology that enables them.
  • You and your team of 5 HR Solution Delivery Analysts will be responsible for leading and delivering complex projects, providing Tier 3 support for Workday, configuring changes in Workday, coordinating Workday security, executing annual HR events, supervising Workday's semi-annual feature releases and leading operational activities, such as integration monitoring.
  • Voya's Workday platform currently includes Human Capital Management, Recruiting, Talent Management, Performance Management, Onboarding, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll and Time-Tracking.
  • This role reports to the VP, HR Operations.
  • Improve the overall employee experience by strengthening the HR operations platform
  • Lead the HR Solution Delivery team by driving decisions and recommending best practices related to Workday functionality across all modules in play at Voya
  • Lead, mentor, counsel and manage performance of staff
  • Serve as a senior player and mentor in architecting Workday solutions
  • Demonstrate design options using prototyping
  • Understand and apply Workday endorsed methodologies
  • Provide project management support and communications for complex projects as well as anticipate and raise risks and propose mitigation plans
  • Align with and implement standard policies and security procedures
  • Champion and maintain positive relationships across partner departments, including senior management
  • 7+ years of Workday advising or functional delivery experience across multiple modules, including 5+ years of team management responsibilities
  • Strong functional Human Resources knowledge
  • Knowledge and experience with Workday data structures and reporting
  • Proven ability to advise with partners and gain agreement of prioritization of work requests
  • Proven understanding of cross functional dependencies
  • Proven ability to prioritize, take initiative and lead a team in delivering multiple collaborative projects from inception to deployment
  • Possess sound analytical skills and the ability/willingness to make critical decisions in a timely manner
  • Outstanding follow-through and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Dedication to continuous improvement
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 10 years) work experience
