- Medical Training Institute of New York is currently recruiting for an experienced Adjunct faculty member in the Hemodialysis/Dialysis Technician Program that exhibits strong communication skills with the willingness to train students to become Certified Dialysis Technician.
- Candidates must have experience teaching in a classroom or/and in a synchronous environment and have a minimum of 2 years in Hemodialysis/Dialysis Practice.
- JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Nurse program Director, the Hemodialysis/Dialysis Technician Instructor will teach the didactic and clinical components of a curriculum designed to help students build knowledge and clinical skills aimed at enabling students to be employed as successful Hemodialysis/Dialysis technicians and provide preparation for the passing the national competency exam.
- Instruction including hands-on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus, and lesson plan development.
- Certified Hemodialysis Technician [CCHT or CCHT–A] or Registered Nurse with CDN, CNN, or Nurse Practitioner with CNN-NP or Licensed Practical Nurse with CD-LPN or RN with related certification/experience.
