- The Deputy Director, Development & Girls/Women's Hockey is a key member of the Sharks Ice Management team.
- The responsibility of the Deputy Director is to manage all elements of the San Jose Junior Sharks Girls/Women's Hockey program as well as overall skill development pathway for the club through execution of a strategic vision, fostering a positive environment, and ensuring the development of players, families, and coaches.
- Serve in appropriate leadership roles, representing the Junior Sharks Club to CAHA, NORCAL, USA Hockey and other hockey governing organizations as required to benefit the advancement of the club goals.
- Upholds and maintains the policies and procedures of the ice arena.
- Recommends supplementary developmental uses of facility non-ice spaces to the Senior Director, Sharks Ice Hockey Operations, which facilitates the respective hockey programs and the needs of their support groups.
