  • Eaton's Power Reliability Division is currently seeking an Assembler (Kitting) to join our 2nd shift Padmount team.
  • This position is based at our South Milwaukee, WI facility.
  • The hourly rate starts at $19/hr + $1.25/hr shift premium.
  • The core hours are 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM. This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $1,000*, less applicable withholding.
  • Bonus terms: Bonuses are being offered for a limited time only.
  • Applications must be submitted on or after July 1st, 2022 to qualify.
  • Bonuses are only applicable to specific job types and shifts; additional terms and conditions may apply.
  • Associates must be employed at the time of the payout.
  • Bonuses will be payable in two installments: $500, less applicable withholding will be paid after three (3) months of employment and the remaining $500, less applicable withholding will be paid after nine (9) months of employment Why work at Eaton?

  • Position Overview: Perform some complicated sub-assembly operations, usually limited to a specific standard procedure - on a repetitive basis.
  • Set-up workstation to facilitate easier assembly and operate independently or on a group basis.
  • Screen defective parts or make adjustments as necessary.
  • Interact with other departments as needed for advice and decisions.
  • Gather internal to assemble various padmount units.
  • QualificationsRequired (Basic) Qualifications: Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
  • Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered.
  • Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
