- The Corporate Security Officer is responsible, for providing a safe and secure work environment for Nassau associates, building tenants, visitors, contractors, and the public, and for protecting Nassau 's physical assets.
- Controls access in/out of Nassau facilities by checking associate, visitor, contractor and tenant I.D. Badges, monitoring sign-in sheets, issuing visitor ID badges, and operating the closed-circuit television cameras (CCTV).
- Operates the computerized security, access control, and alarm systems.
- Activates/deactivates alarm systems when opening/closing the building.
- Monitors and acts upon building HVAC alarms, fire system alarms, and elevator alarms, providing necessary assistance and documentation.
