- Job Summary: This position provides support and leadership to increase students' out-of-class learning experiences and encourage student engagement and belonging.
- This includes coordinating the creation and implementation of strategic leadership training programs, developing co-curricular student leadership opportunities, intercultural programs, student engagement programs, supporting the leadership within student clubs and organizations, volunteer opportunities, and other engagement opportunities that support student success, retention, and persistence.
- Develop a year-long calendar of programs and services that aid in the growth, persistence, and retention of underrepresented student populations and foster intercultural awareness and cross-cultural interaction among students, faculty, and staff.
- Develops campus-wide partnerships with departments and organizations to support intersectional programming as well as identity-conscious leadership development and student engagement.
- Design, deliver, and sustain a Co-Curricular Transcript (CCT) that reflects students’ participation, engagement, and achievements outside the classroom at HACC.Design, facilitate and deliver comprehensive leadership development education through retreats, sessions, workshops, conferences, and other formats.
