  • job summary:Controller - $95,000 - $110,000 Unique opportunity to join a small company on the east shore of Harrisburg as their Controller.
  • This is a newly created position within a relatively new division of an established (and highly profitable company).
  • This 'jack of all trades' Controller will get their hands into all aspects of the business and will report to the Company President.
  • This will be a true 'hands on role' - one in which the Controller will focus on the daily accounting but will also be responsible for budgeting / forecasting, financial planning and analysis, financial reporting, company audits, and managing external relationships with banks, public accounting firms, insurance companies, etc.
  • This position will collaborate with the President to make decisions regarding the company's financial strategy and operations.
  • The Controller will likely get involved in non accounting / non finance responsibilities related to Human Resources, Operations and Sales.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with a minimum of ten total years of accounting experience is required.
  • Manufacturing or distribution industry experience is strongly preferred (and this could be a Manager level public accounting professional who has clients in these industries).
  • Our client strongly prefers a candidate with Accounting Management / Controller experience at a small company ($10-50 million in annual revenues).
  • Supervisor to Manager level candidates directly out of public accounting are also welcome to apply.
