  • Construction Superintendent Mountain Top Builders Superintendent Mountain Top Builders, located in Tabernash, Colorado, is committed to doing the right thing by our clients, employees, Trade Partners, company, community and the environment.
  • Job Purpose: To supervise the ongoing, daily job site activities through all phases of custom home construction, including the scheduling and management of Trade Partners.

  • Review site specific safety items with each trade at the beginning of their work phase and provide ongoing feedback.
  • Inspect and confirm work is being performed to MTB standard of workmanship.
  • Coordinate with Operation and Project Manager on field and equipment related matters.
  • Builder trend utilization daily.
  • Advanced knowledge of structural and IRC code requirements.
  • Make onsite decisions and calculations pertaining to plan alterations.
  • Management of job organization and cleanliness.
  • Other duties as required.
  • Required experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Training to be provided by MTB if not current.
  • Employee must be at least 21 years old, have a valid drivers license and possess a clean driving record.
  • Qualifications: Proficiency with Outlook and Builder trend Software.
  • Ability to read, comprehend, and write simple correspondence in English.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to clients, Trade Partners and other employees of the organization in English.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several tangible variables in standardized situations.
  • Spanish as a second language is encouraged.
  • Desire to live the high mountain, ski town lifestyle.
