- Overview The primary responsibilities of the Construction Inspector, Airfield are to inspect and review small to large construction methods in accordance with applicable codes and standards included in the project drawings and specifications and to provide general inspections on construction labor and subcontractor work to assure a good and cooperative operation.
- Experience in the inspection of asphalt, concrete, earthwork, lighting, signals and structures.
- Working knowledge of applicable statutes, rules, ordinances, codes and regulations governing airport operations, required.
- Must have reasonable computer skills and be literate in MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS Excel, and should be proficient in Procore or other Construction Management software.
- Ability to obtain security clearance for air operations badging and Customs Border Protection (CBP) access.
