Full-time
- This is a technical engineering position performing computational fluid dynamics modeling and simulation for supersonic and hypersonic missiles.
- The candidate will perform gridding, computational fluid dynamics simulations, gas dynamics calculations, flow visualization, and workflow programming, using both local and DoD Distributed Supercomputing Resource Centers for massive deployment and monitoring of solutions and harvesting of results.
- These solutions will be used to generate multi-fidelity aerodynamic data and interfaced with computational structural dynamics models to advance research in fluid-thermal-structural interactions (FTSI) of high speed missiles.
- Knowledge: Experience with supersonic and hypersonic computational fluid dynamic models with software such as Cart3D, Kestrel, FUN3D, US3D or equivalent is required.
- Clearance: Must be a U.S. Citizen with active Top Secret clearance.
