- POSITION SUMMARY: The Compliance Auditor responds to suspected, reported or confirmed instances of non-compliance through audits and other activities to effectively meet the goals of the OSF compliance program.
- Area of focus may include hospital, provider practice or home care (hospice, home health, home medical equipment and home infusion pharmacy).
- Other Licenses/Certifications: Certification in professional medical coding (such as CPC, CCA, CCS-P or CPMA) or medical records (such as RHIT or RHIA); or must obtain within 12 months of hire.
- Bachelor's Degree and 1 year experience in coding, billing, or audit in a healthcare setting OR High School diploma with 5 years' experience in coding, billing, or audit in a healthcare setting
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.
