  • The Compliance Analyst works on the Research & Development team to support 83bar to ensure that the organization’s operations and procedures meet government and industry compliance standards.
  • This position will primarily be focused on quality management, security and privacy.
  • This position reports directly to the R&D Manager.
  • This position will work closely with the compliance committee (technology, client services, call center, and legal) to lead and support compliance program initiatives focusing on the ensuring ongoing compliance for our services
  • Research regulations by reviewing regulatory bulletins and other sources of information
  • Accountable for reviewing regulatory and industry requirements and assessing our compliance
  • Keeps our teams abreast of requirements by researching regulatory information and by writing and communicating guidelines
  • Maintains Quality Management System
  • Review current business processes for possible risk and suggest policy and procedure updates.
  • Ensure that client compliance needs are met within industry standards
  • Provides analysis of compliance gaps and documents root cause and corrective action plans
  • Oversee internal compliance risk investigations, in conjunction with upper management and the compliance committee
  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
  • Annual standard operating procedures
  • Highly knowledgeable regarding compliance and regulatory requirements of the healthcare industry
  • Function knowledge of data and security management
  • Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to review and create Standard Operating Procedures
  • Understanding of US and international privacy laws and their practical implementation
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, such as ZenQMS
  • Extremely proficient in Google Workspace Suite, Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Experience with healthcare, marketing, technology services, or call center
  • Has a healthcare regulatory background
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field.
  • Extensive and diversified background with at least 5 years of related experience.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
