  • Job Description:General DescriptionUnder general direction from the Compensation Manager, leads and supports compensation activities to develop and administer compensation programs.
  • Conducts research, analyzes data, and makes recommendations on compensation.
  • Involved in strategic development of compensation initiatives.
  • Develops and participates in compensation surveys to collect and analyze information on organizational competitive position.
  • Acts as internal consultant for management on compensation matters.
  • Leads or participates in special projects/compensation initiatives.
  • This position will also lead the Human Capital Management (HCM) module within Workday.
  • This individual will be responsible for maintaining data integrity and stability within our core HCM function.
  • Key Responsibilities and Essential Job FunctionsCompensation (50%) Develops and maintains compensation system for the organization including participation in salary surveys, conducting salary analysis, recommending position adjustments and ensuring pay ranges are defined for each position.
  • Effectively communicates with stakeholders regarding the results of analyses and provides consultation regarding compensation and talent management best practices.
  • Ensures job descriptions are accurate and complete when roles and/or structures change.
  • Performs monthly audits to manage and maintain compensation data.
  • Assist with the merit and annual incentive compensation (bonus) programs.
  • Partner with internal managers and leaders by serving as a coach and expert as it relates to the organization's compensation strategy Ensures data integrity of the system, job description files, and other salary administration resources, and participates in process improvement initiatives to streamline work and improve customer service.
  • Documents HR processes and creates work aids and training documents as needed.
  • Performs an annual FLSA classification audit (exempt vs non-exempt roles)HCM (50%) Experience and proficiency with Workday as the HCM lead.
  • Provides guidance and recommendations to HR team around how HCM interacts and communicates with other modules and systems.
  • Very strong attention to detail and ability to perform self-audit to ensure data integrity and utmost accuracy at all times.
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned.
  • Required Qualifications Bachelors in Business Administration, Human Resources, or Finance is a plus or equivalent work experience 2-4 years experience in compensation administration and program development.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in an HRIS Analyst/Consultant role Excellent business analysis skills: timeline planning, requirements definition and documentation, test planning, deployment approaches; exceptional written and verbal communication capabilities.
  • Thrive on simultaneously managing multiple responsibilities with superior detail orientation, organization, and analytical skills.
  • Requires high level of discretion with ability to handle confidential and proprietary information appropriately.
  • High level of integrity.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite specifically Excel & Word Effective interpersonal and leadership skillsPreferred Qualifications Knowledge of Payfactors preferred CCP PreferredBase Pay Range: Annualized salary range offered for this position is estimated to be $70,000-$90,000, however, the actual pay range depends each candidates experience and qualifications.
