- The School of Medicine, Pediatrics is seeking a Community Outreach Specialist.
- This position reports to the Program Supervisor of EIS/PrEP Program in the Center for Adolescent and Young Adult Health located in the Johns Hopkins Children's Center.
- The COPN will be primarily responsible for daily operations of the HIV/STI testing program in the HLC, assisting youth to testing services, including assistance with insurance, transportation, and coordination of care, patient education, assisting with/leading outreach activities, and data management of the Early Intervention System (EIS) CAREWare database.
- Specific Duties & ResponsibilitiesClinical CareOrganize daily operations of the HIV/STI testing program in the Harriet Lane Clinic (HLC) (inclusive of the SOURCE volunteer program, Point of Care HIV testing services, Condom ordering and distribution and patient education activities).
- Administrative DutiesInput services provided to clients into the data management of the Early Intervention System (EIS) CAREWare and Virtual Health (VOISES) database(s) and assist with development of CAREWare reports.
